GREENVILLE—Janice Faye Rust, 97, of Greenville, KY died on Sunday, April 20, 2025 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. She was born on August 21, 1927 in Muhlenberg County, KY, the daughter of Clint William Coleman and Eula Shannon Coleman. She was the owner of Rust Grocery Store, having worked in the grocery business for 76 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Lee Rust in 1979, one sister Juanita Adkins, and two brothers G.W. Coleman and Julius Clint Coleman.
Graveside services and burial will be Wednesday at 1:00 PM at Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville with Rev. Curtis McGehee officiating. Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by three sons, Bobby (Ruth) Rust of Greenville, KY, Jeff (Patty) Rust of Greenville, KY, Jerry Rust of Greenville, KY; one granddaughter, Amanda (Shane) Shepherd of Owensboro, KY; one sister, Nelda Everett of Russellville, KY.
Visitation will be Wednesday at 10:00 AM until 12:30 at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville.
