Jane Gregory Catron, of Owensboro, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025 at Wellington Parc. She was born in Owensboro to the late Beverly and Lucille Gregory. Jane had worked as a nurse assistant in her later years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 71 ½ years, Donald Catron, on January 13, 2024, and a brother, John Edgar Gregory in 2017.
She is survived by a daughter, Debby Parker (Larry); two sons, Barry Catron and Brian Catron (Lee Ann); five grandchildren, Mark Catron, Danny Leonard II, Derrick Leonard, Mindy Gilbert, and Dustin Leonard; 10 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Trivette of Chicago, and Ruth Walker of Louisville.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Jane’s funeral service will be livestreamed on our website. Visitation is from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. A private burial will take place in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Sorgho.
