OWENSBORO – Carolyn Faye Hawes, 78, passed away April 16th, 2025 at the Heartford House surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 14th, 1947 to the late Godfrey and Margerine Crowe Moseley.
Carolyn was retired from Citizen’s Bank and the Ohio County Board of Education. She loved travelling, playing golf, crafting and computers.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 58 years, Kerry Calvert Hawes; daughters, Marjorie Bennett (Todd) and Kerri Bradley (Dr. Jeremy); grandchildren, Britney Chilton (Roger), Sheena Phelps (Nathan), Ben Geary (Jordan), Mark Bennett, Taylor Pharris (Roger), Cora Walsh (Corbin), Olivia Bradley (Deric Parks) and Evan Bradley (Rachel Hornback); along with several great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Services will be held Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Roger Chilton officiating.
