Linda Louise Onstott, 77, of Philpot, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the University of Louisville Jewish Hospital. She was born June 16, 1947, to the late Delbert and Ellen Louise Alvey. Linda was a member of Saint Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. Her faith was an integral part of who she was. In previous years she worked at GE and Walmart. Linda had a love for camping, sitting around the fire, and traveling. She valued her time spent with family and had a fierce love for her children and grandchildren, taking immense joy in watching them grow.
In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by a daughter, Amy Renee’ Bailey.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 57 years, Charles Onstott; son, Joseph Shane Onstott (Shannon Jo); son-in-law, Keith Bailey; sisters, Sheila Thomas (Steve) and Norma Jo Fulkerson; grandchildren, Justin Davis (Courtney), Maci Jo Onstott, Chelsea Renee’ Bailey, and Jonathan Keith Bailey; great-grandchild, Colt Wayne Davis; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Linda will be 10 AM Tuesday, April 22, at Saint Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. Visitation will be Monday from 4 PM until 7 PM at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, with prayers taking place at 6:30. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
