Ellis Scott Willoughby, age 79 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away April 14, 2025, at Norton Audubon Hospital. He was born in Louisville, KY on March 30, 1946, son of the late Ellis and Ruby White Willoughby. Scott and his wife Charlotte were the retired owners and operators of Willoughby and Son Construction, Willoughby and Son Appliance and Willoughby Landscaping. He was a member of Hardinsburg Baptist Church and Breckinridge County Community Center. Scott, along with his friend Huston DeHaven, were the sports commentators for WXBC radio, covering Breckinridge County Sports. He was a former basketball coach at St. Romuald High School and enjoyed playing golf, tennis, fishing and classic cars.

His granddaughter Anna Reagan Corbett and step grandson Jesse Bird

Funeral services will be held at Hardinsburg Baptist Church on Friday, April 18, 2025, at 11 AM with burial in the Ivy Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday, 3:30 – 8 PM and Friday after 9 AM. All times are central.
