Lois English, 93, of Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Cedarhurst of Owensboro while under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky. She was born March 13, 1932 in Daviess County to the late Joseph Winford and Anna Lee Pate Vance. Lois was a member of First Baptist Church and was retired from the Daviess County School System as a secretary at Masonville Elementary School. Her favorite pastime was making quilts. Lois was also preceded in death by her husband, Conrad English in 2012 and a son, Michael Ray English in 2010.
Surviving are two daughters, Debbie Graham (Rick) of Owensboro and Sandra English (Tom) of Kennewick, Washington; one grandson, Jeremy English of Owensboro; three great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Friday, April 11 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with entombment following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 11 AM until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
