Homer Sosh, Jr., age 85 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away April 1, 2025, at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born in Hardinsburg on April 13, 1939, son of the late Homer Sosh, Sr. and Evelyn Carwile Sosh. He retired from TARC where he worked for many years as a bus driver. As a young boy, he attended Horsley Chapel Methodist Church.
Homer shopped and browsed at many yard sales, garage sales and the Peddlers Mall. He was a UK Wildcats fan and enjoyed watching westerns and game shows. He was quite the jokester and laughed at himself more than the jokes he told.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Peggy Pate, Lonnie Sosh and Kenny Sosh.
Homer is survived by his children: Dennis Sosh and Charlotte Lintelmann of Louisville, KY
2 grandchildren: Brittney and Brooke and 3 great grandchildren
3 sisters: Mary Hill of Hardinsburg, KY; Cindy Pizzaro of Florida and Melinda Sosh of McDaniels, KY

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Monday, April 7, 2025 at 2 PM with burial in the Ivy Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12 PM on Monday. All times are central.
