
BEECH CREEK – Thomas Keith Woodruff, “Tommy,” 73, of Beech Creek, KY passed away peacefully at 2:20PM at Magnolia Village Nursing & Rehabilitation in Bowling Green, March 24, 2025. Tommy was Born February 28, 1952 in Muhlenberg County. He was a 1970 graduate from Hughes Kirk. Tommy retired from his position as superintendent of the Muhlenberg County Water Department. Previously, Tommy was a Coal miner for Peabody Coal for 15 years and worked as a housing contractor for 5 years. He was also a member at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church for many years. Anyone who knew Tommy knew that he loved antiquing. Tommy loved to spend his free time at the flea market, auctions, and antique stores. Tommy loved his family more than anything. His grandchildren were the light of his life. He was a devoted husband, father, Poppop, and friend. Tommy loved spending time with his family and watching UK basketball.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ruby Woodruff; brothers, Ronnie Woodruff & Jeff (Kay) Woodruff; sister, Brenda (Walton) Beliles; nephew, Dewayne Woodruff; and son-in-law, Jason Blake.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marilyn Woodruff; daughter, Susan Blake; granddaughter’s, Taylor (Trent) Arnold & Jenna Rice (Trenton Johnson); Grandson, Shane (Rebecca) Blake; great grandsons, Tucker Arnold and Oliver Blake; brother, Clinton Woodruff; and nephews.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 2PM at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Curtis McGhee officiating and burial to follow. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
