Michael “Boogie” Roberts, 71, of Owensboro, passed away Monday March 17, 2025, at his home while under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky. He was born December 24, 1953, in Owensboro, to the late William Owen Roberts and Margaret Howard Roberts. Mike grew up in Rome, KY and graduated from Owensboro Catholic High School in 1972. He was a very hard worker and spent his life working as a farmer for Miles Farm Supply for 35+ years.
Mike is survived by his wife of 47 years, Teresa Murphy Roberts; a son, Kevin Michael (Meredith) Roberts; granddaughters, Luisa Roberts and Paloma Roberts; brothers, Jeff, Darrell, and Joe Roberts; sisters, Yvonne Grossman and Beth (Rob) Ebelhar; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Mike Roberts will be at 12 p.m. Wednesday March 26, 2025, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, with Father Ray Clark officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday. The burial will be in Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
