December 22, 1965 - March 13, 2025

Susan E Johnson

Susan Johnson (Taylor) of Sylvania passed away suddenly on March 13, 2025. She was predeceased by her partner John Taylor, of Sylvania, her parents Wayne and Verna Blanchard, her sisters Donna Lowery and Barbara Cox, and nephew Dolan Blanchard. She is survived by her five feral children Lenessa Hopper (Chris), Shanna Piper (Robbie), Wendy Johnson (single, looking), Darlene Leslie (Chris), Jacob Johnson (single, not looking), step children Mack Taylor (Sherry) and Ryan Taylor, her siblings Sylvia and Lee Sutton (of Sacramento, Kentucky), Wanda and Peter Castello (of Henderson, Kentucky), Wayne and Alethia Blanchard (of Sylvania, Georgia), and sister Teresa Landrum (of Central City, Kentucky), lifelong friend Racine Tucker, numerous grandchildren, a great grandchild, nephews, nieces, and so many more.

Susan was the definition of love, endlessly helping anyone within her reach. She helped raise more children than you can count, and made the best grilled cheese and the most perfect bacon ever tasted. She reminded her children that they gave her the skills to be able to support the special needs consumers at her job with Ogeechee Behavioral Health for almost 20 years. Susan was an avid Coca Cola collector and spent her free time finding ways to aggravate her children and siblings. She was everything a mother, friend, sister, and daughter should be…and more. She was our secret keeper, our best friend. She was the best of us and will forever be missed.
