Jesse Rhodes, 92, of Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born February 23, 1933, to the late Frank and Ora Mae Rhodes. Jesse was a member of Third Baptist Church. He spent many years of his life farming and retired from Don Moore as a mechanic
In addition to his parents, Jesse is preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Patricia Rhodes; daughter, Carolyn Hammond; and son, David Rhodes.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Donna Gosnell (Mark), Lori Keim (Wally), Ruth Royals (Rick), Gerry Rhodes, and Jesse Rhodes Jr. (Diane); brothers, Dyril Rhodes (Ollie) and Gerald Rhodes (Roberta); as well as 16 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
The funeral service for Jesse will be 12 PM Wednesday, March 12, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 10 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hope Cemetery in Livermore.
