Debra Ann “Debbie” Smith, age 73 of Cloverport, KY, passed away February 22, 2025, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Louisville, KY on January 15, 1952, daughter of the late Sherman and Betty Bennett Shawler. Debbie enjoyed playing the piano, arts and crafts and drawing. She was a former Avon Sales representative and collector. She loved her home and all things involved with being a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Raphael Smith.
Debbie is survived by 2 children: Samuel Smith of Cloverport, KY and Rachael Roberts of Irvington,KY
3 grandchildren: Taffi Claridy, Kendra Roberts and Eddie Roberts
6 great grandchildren: Van and Amber Claridy, Raelyn Williams, Kaiden Smith, KayLynn and Junior Roberts and another due in July.
In keeping with the wishes of Debbie, her family has chosen cremation with no services.
