Janet Carol Smith, 69, of Owensboro, passed away February 9, 2025, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Newton, North Carolina June 21, 1955, to the late Raymond L. and Edith M. Smith. Janet was a kind, loving woman who enjoyed spending time with others. She was a Christian woman of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Denise Smith.
Those left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Karen and Raymond Smith of Owensboro and cousins, Margie Cauldwell of Virginia, Dorothy Fullbright, Richard Hughes, and John Hughes, all of North Carolina.
