James William “Bill” Howard, age 71 of Westview, KY passed away February 6, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Louisville, KY on June 26, 1953, son of the late James Robert Howard and Betty Hall Russ. Bill retired from Ford Motor Company where he was a welder. He loved the outdoors and lake life, especially bass fishing. He was an avid U of L fan and enjoyed playing softball and golf.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Bobby Howard.
Bill is survived by Sharon, his wife of 42 years.
4 children: Joshua Howard of Westview, KY; Billy Howard (Kelly) of Louisville, KY; Missy Howard (Michelle) of Brandenburg, KY and Ashley Andrews (Barrett) of New Albany, IN
3 grandchildren: James, Jadelyn and Abby
3 great grandchildren: Jake and Ezekiel
3 brothers: Randy Howard, Eddie Howard (Kim) and Marvin “Dudy” Howard
2 sisters: Cindy Foster (Larry) and Kathy Howard
In keeping with the wishes of Bill, cremation was chosen with no services.
