Donald Ray Evans, 69, of Owensboro, passed away Wednesday, February 5, at his home. He was born September 16, 1955, in Daviess County, to the late William and Betty Evans. Donald worked as a machinist for over 20 years, retiring from Faith Tool and Die after 15 years of service. In previous years, Donald was an avid boater and enjoyed traveling. He was a lover of music and self-taught guitar player, always being the life of the party. Donald also loved art, watching westerns, and most of all, spending time with his family.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Will Evans (Cassandra) and Philip Evans (Cortney); mother of his children, Nancy Evans; siblings, David Evans, of PA, and Janie Honeycutt; grandchildren, Courtney Greer (Vasaad), Alex Evans, Sykiah Easley, Damien Evans, Imani Evans, and Micah Evans; great-grandchildren, Zepplyn Greer and Ryze Greer.
