Anna Catherine “Evie” Pruden, 83, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at her residence. She was born December 14, 1941 in Daviess County to the late Frank and Mary Young Ambs. Evie was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Edward Pruden; and brothers, Frank Ambs Jr. and David “Pete” Ambs.
She is survived by her son, William Pruden; daughter, Karen Pruden; three grandchildren, Whitney Adams Brown and her husband, Dustin Brown, Austin Adams, and Katie Pruden; two great-grandchildren, Addison Paige Brown and Gavin Tate Brown; brother, Steven “Hub” Ambs; and several nieces and nephews.
A private family visitation will be held at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory on Friday 3-5 pm. Burial will be private at a later date.
