
Mark Evrard, age 64, passed away early Saturday morning, December 21, 2024. Mark was born in Owensboro, KY, on February 29, 1960, the son of Edward Estil and Clara Mae (Uebelhor) Evrard. Mark was a hard-working home builder in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially loved fishing – for most of his life, he would go nearly every chance he got. Mark was a classic rock fan and enjoyed playing games, going to the casino, eating good meals, and competed from home while watching Jeopardy every night. Mark was known to be very caring and kind to others and appreciated the simple things in life. He especially loved making those around him laugh. Mark is survived by his children, Michael Evrard of Kalamazoo and Michelle Evrard of Phoenix, AZ; granddaughter, Kaydence; his mother, Clara Mae Evrard; siblings, Jacquelyn (Tom) Horning, Gregg Evrard, Deborah (Bart Brophy) Evrard, Brian (Jamie) Evrard; nieces and nephews; and many friends. Mark was preceded in death by his father; and his longtime companion Heddy Pearson.
