Margo Elaine O’Brien (Chi), 74, passed away on Friday, January 24th, 2025, at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Greenville, KY on November 29th, 1950, the daughter of Maedoll Vincent Knight. She was a member of East Union Baptist Church, and she retired from Belle Meade Nursing Home as a nursing assistant. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping, fishing, video games, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 20 years, Kenneth Dale O’Brien, and a sister Andrea Sue Knight.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 29th, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville with Bro. Tondra Daugherty officiating with Bro. Joe Chambers assisting. Burial will follow at East Union Cemetery in Graham, KY.
She is survived by her daughter, Delania Lear of Beaver Dam, KY; Her mother, Maedoll Vincent Knight; Two grandchildren, Nathen (Celia) Lear of Elizabethtown, KY; Christafer (Autumn) Lear of Beaver Dam, KY; Two great grandchildren, Abigail Lear and Kenton Lear; One brother, Tony (Libby) Knight of Greenville, KY; One sister, Pam King of Columbia, KY.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 29th, 2025 at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, Kentucky.
