Don Ray Parker, 80, of Maceo, passed away on January 9, 2025, under the care of Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on April 19, 1944, in Evansville, Indiana.
Don attended Rockport High School, in Rockport, Indiana, and grew up in Grandview, Indiana. He retired from General Electric after 50 years of service and was of the Catholic faith. He loved spending time enjoying his Mustang, UK basketball, and his dog, Zeus.
Along with his parents, John and Nellie Parker, Don is preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Helen Parker, his sister, Linda Strange, and his brother, David Parker.
Don is survived by three sons, Jimmy, Cary and Brian Parker, Patsy’s children, Kenny Powers, Tina Higdon, and Mike James, his brother, Steve Parker, and his half-sister, Rosetta Lashley.
Mr. Parker’s wishes are being respected and there will be no services.
