James Thomas Terry, 82, of Owensboro, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025 while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born September 19, 1942 in Todd County to the late Alex Neal Terry and Vera Mallory Terry. James retired from the U.S. Air Force and later from Lowe’s Home Improvement Store. He enjoyed being outdoors and doing yardwork
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Terry; and brothers, Bobby G. Terry and Roger Neal Terry.
He is survived by three children; two sisters, Frances T. Belcher and Martha Bolin; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00p.m. on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery at a later date with full military honors. Visitation is 1:00 to 3:00p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
