Steven Ray Walden, 53, of Centertown, Kentucky passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born November 12, 1971, in Hartford, Kentucky to the late Paul Ray Walden and Cheryl Ann Ashby Walden. Steven started his career as a union carpenter before becoming part of Iron Worker Local #492. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by his grandson, Joseph Wade Fisher; maternal grandparents, Charles and Jean Ashby and paternal grandmother, Gladys Bibb.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, five daughters, Janie (Anthony) Fisher of Salem, Zaiden Walden of Beaver Dam, Addison Walden of Owensboro, Peyton Nelson of Owensboro, and Zandria Walden of Beaver Dam; three grandchildren, Isabella Fisher, Abigail Fisher, and Elliott Fisher; two sisters, Nicole (Mark) Robinson of Centertown and Ashley (Brian) Hamby of Owensboro; nieces and nephews, Hayley (Mike) Paholsky, Logan Hamby, Eli Hamby, Mariah (Tanner) Wilson, and Marcus Robinson; several great nieces and nephews as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Monday, December 30, 2024, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Steven’s family from 10 AM until the time of the service Monday at the cemetery.
