Ronald “Ronnie” L. Frey, 83, of Owensboro, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024. He was born in Daviess County, on August 19, 1941, to the late Paul Frey and Evelyn Vollman Gill.
Ronnie worked as a forklift operator at W.R. Grace & Co./ Daramic Inc. for over 54 years and was a volunteer fireman for the Moseleyville Fire Department. In his spare time, he enjoyed raising and showing rabbits, chickens, pigeons, and miniature horses with his daughter. His friends and family will remember him as a devoted and loving family man and husband.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of over 60 years, Dianne Saltzman Frey, his daughters, Christy Frey and Ron Ann Frey, his sister, Betty (Sam) Coomes, and nieces and nephews.
Private family services will take place at a later date with entombment to follow at Rosehill-Elmwood Cemetery & Mausoleum.
