Joyce Ann Hannold, age 75, passed away while taking care of her animals on December 24, 2024, at her residence in Hudson, KY. She was born in Louisville, KY on September 21, 1949, daughter of the late Carrie Poole and Raymond Riordan. Joyce worked for many years in the banking industry as well as being a processor for NPC Processing. She was very athletic and enjoyed bowling and playing softball, basketball, volleyball and horseshoes. She spent many years as a volleyball referee. She was an avid U K Wildcats fan, enjoyed landscaping and nature. Joyce was a rescue Mom and advocate for many animals, which led to memberships with ASPCA and Best Friends Sanctuary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter Brianna Rose Fuller and stepson Douglas Hannold.
Joyce is survived by her husband Dean Hannold of Louisville, KY
3 children: Dennis Fuller, Donald Fuller and Danielle Fuller of Louisville, KY
Stepdaughter: DeDe Davis of Clarksville, IN and stepson: Dean Hannold, Jr. of Shepherdsville, KY
Grandchildren: Austin Bowman, Sami Davis-Rapier and her husband Logan, Gage and Dean Hannold, III (Tre’)
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 2 PM with cremation to follow. Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM on Monday. All times are central.
