HARTFORD – Sandra Magan, 82, of Hartford, Kentucky passed away on December 25th, 2024 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born on October 6th, 1942 to the late Carl and Viola Whitehouse Carpenter.
Sandra attended Barnetts Creek Baptist Church. She worked for GE Small Motors in her working years. She enjoyed genealogy, sewing, taking trips to the mountains and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Donald Magan, who passed away July 29th, 2024 and her sister, Linda Sue Carpenter.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Robbie (Sherry) Magan and Clint (Heather) Magan; daughters, Carla (Terry) Griffin and Kami (Jason) Likens; grandchildren, Andrew (Arin) Magan, Adam (Johnna) Magan, Taylor Griffin, Sam Griffin, Devin Coffield, Lane Likens, Byron Magan, Bradyn Magan, Shelby Magan, Nathan (Samantha) Likens, Kayla (Chevy) Minton; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Carl “Corky” (Darlas) Carpenter, Joe (Peggy) Carpenter, and Ron (Martha Joe) Carpenter.
Services will be held Monday, December 30th, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Bro. Ron Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in Magan Community Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, December 29th, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Monday from 9:00 am until time of service at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky.
