Julie Ann Towery, 64, of Utica, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born on February 17, 1960 in Cook County, Illinois to the late Wendell Wood Sr. and Virginia Louise Staples Wood. Julie was previously employed at TTMA.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Smith (Jeremy); son, Jeff Towery; six grandchildren, Katie, Sophie, Isabella, Ben, Abby, and Makenna; one great-granddaughter; siblings, Larry Wood (Shannon), Chris Wood, Wendell Wood, Jr. (Mary Jane), and Tony Wood; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
