Jerry Lee Faught, Sr. (Papaw), 80, of Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2024 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Owensboro, KY on January 26, 1944 to the late Myrtle Jane Faught. Jerry spent most of his life truck driving and retired from Higdon Trucking. He enjoyed time with his family, fishing, hunting, and going out dancing with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Jane Faught; and his grandson, Alexander Stevens Dela-Cruz; four sisters; and one brother.
He is survived by his children Vicki (Chuck) Horn, Jerry Lee (Tina) Faught Jr and Lisa (Jason) Rice; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces, several nephews and a sister.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Private burial will take place at a later date.
