Carl Adam Powers, age 43 of Glasgow, KY, passed away December 8, 2024. He was born in Owensboro, KY on November 20, 1981. He was preceded in death by his father John Anthony Powers and grandparents Carl and Bessie Dubree and Corby Powers, Sr. and Mary Powers.
Adam is survived by his mother Delia Powers, his brother John Powers and his wife Julie, his niece Jacqueline Powers and his friend Stacy Page.
Adam grew up with his family in Cloverport, KY. He enjoyed his hometown on the scenic Ohio River and playing basketball with the Aces.
Adam graduated from Frederick Fraize High School with the Class of 2000. He attended Bowling Green Technical College and graduated with an associates degree in Industrial Maintenance with an Emphasis in Robotics and Automation with the Class of 2007.
Adam worked in several factories in Bowling Green and Glasgow. His current place of employment is Nemak Kentucky – Plant 1 in Glasgow.
Adam loved his family and was a friend to many, which included the Page family, his work family at Nemak, his work families at previous jobs, college friends, high school friends, childhood friends and his very dear cousins.
Adam was also part of the Big Blue Nation – he loved the Kentucky Wildcats and always supported them through their ups and downs. Go Cats!
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 12 PM with burial in the Cloverport Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 AM on Saturday. All times are central. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Purple Crusaders or a charity of choice.
