CIFTY — Stephen Dewayne Settle of Clifty, KY passed away on Saturday, December 14th, 2024 at Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green KY. He was born on October 10th, 1956 in Greenville KY, the son of the late Charles Lee Settle and Lady Mae Skipworth Settle. He was a member of the Baptist faith and worked for the Todd County Road Department. He was a logger and a farmer all his life. He loved fishing, hunting, and going to church.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 18th, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY with Bro. Jerry Sweeney officiating, assisted by Jonathan Skipworth. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Schoolhouse Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Brenda Settle of Clifty, KY; his mother, Lady Mae Skipworth Settle of Morgantown, KY; two daughters, Kelly Ann (Shane) Cunningham of Clifty, KY and Kimberly Settle Johnson of Elkton, KY; three grandsons, William Bradley (Melynda) Scott Jr., Steven Tyler Johnson, and Kaleb Settle; two great granddaughters, Abigail Mae Scott and Olivia Grace Scott; two brothers, Kevin Settle and Bruce Settle; one sister, Shelia Chambliss; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 18th, 2024 from 11:00 AM until time of funeral service at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY.
