GREENVILLE—Dorothy Mae Jenkins, 97, of Greenville, died on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Riverside Care and Rehabilitation in Calhoun, KY. She was born in Cadiz, KY on October 2, 1927, the daughter of Fred Boren and Dollie Atkins Boren. She was a member of Sharon General Baptist Church and was a housewife and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Cluster Jenkins, a daughter Debra Sue Jenkins, four sisters, and one brother.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 15 at 2:00 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY with Bro. Brian Lile officiating, assisted by Bro. Darren Pentecost. Burial will follow in Yeargins Chapel Cemetery in Graham, KY.
She is survived by one son, Dennis Jenkins of Greenville, KY; two daughters, Teresa Jenkins (Steve) Crowe of Greenville, KY and Lori Jenkins (Tim) Wilson of Greenville, KY; four grandchildren, Landon (Erica) Wilson, Raysha (Stuart) Doss, Amanda (Joey) Cornette, Heather Miklas; two great grandchildren, Sophie Cornette and Grady Wilson; two step-brothers, Jim (Selina) Jones and J.W. (Kim) Jones.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 15 from 11:00 AM until time of funeral at 2:00 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home.
