Jerry Allen Killion, 83, of Reynolds Station, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024 at his home, surrounded by family. He was born in Arrowsmith, Illinois to the late Vernelle and Nell Short Killion.
Jerry was a carpenter by trade. He had worked for himself, as well as with the union. He had also worked for McElroy Metal.
Jerry loved spending time with family, especially when it included camping trips. He also had a mind for solving problems and enjoyed puzzle books. He will be dearly missed.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Schafer.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Debbie Killion; children, Richard Killion of Owensboro, Nancy Minor (Rick) of Bloomington, IL, Tony Killion of Knoxville, TN, Chris Bolen of Owensboro, Danny Killion (Angie) of Sandwich, IL, Matt Killion (Misty) of Reynolds Station, KY and Adam Killion of Hawesville, KY; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; six sisters, Shirley Riddle, Linda Builta, Gloria Daugherty, Pam Killion, Rosie Killion and Julie Boaz; two brothers, Raymond and Mike Killion; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 13 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, where visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will be at Lewisport Cemetery.
