James C. Stevens, 82, of Owensboro, died on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at his residence. He was born October 18, 1936 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Fred and Goldie Hicks Stevens. James retired from Bunn Grading in 2008. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Frances Williams; and a son, Timmy Dale Stevens.
Survivors include two sons, James R. Stevens and David Stevens; two daughters, Donna Dockery and Lisa; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Cates of Hartford, William Stevens of Louisville, Harold Stevens of Owensboro, Earl Stevens of Hartford, and Darrel Stevens of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has been chosen. James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
