Shurita Fay Poole, age 50 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away November 17, 2024 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. She was born in Hardinsburg on December 15, 1973. While in high school, Shurita was a talented basketball player for the Lady Tigers. She was an avid fan of the University of Louisville Cardinals as well as Lamar Jackson and Steph Curry. She enjoyed cooking. Her pride and joy were her Z boys – Zachary, Zavier and Zeke.
She was preceded in death by her father Jim Tom Poole.
Shurita is survived by her mother Velma Poole of Hardinsburg, KY
2 sons – Zachary Donnell Poole and Zavier Poole of Hardinsburg, KY
Grandson – Zeke Poole
Brother – Tyree Conn (Roni) of Hardinsburg, KY
Niece and nephew: Olivia Booth of Indiana and Isaiah Conn of Hardinsburg, KY
Many aunts, uncles and cousins.
In keeping with the wishes of Shurita, the family has chosen cremation with no services.
