Timothy “Timmy Lee” Whitworth, age 58, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was born in Hardinsburg, KY on August 17, 1966, son of the late Guthrie and Virginia Butler Whitworth. He was employed by Glenn’s Cleaning Service and worked at the Breckinridge County Justice Center for many years. Tim was a gifted musician and played in numerous local bands throughout the years. He always had a smile on his face and never met a stranger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Terry Whitworth.
Tim is survived by his sister Debbie Bloomfield of Irvington, KY
One niece Cristy (Eric) Mills; two nephews Jamie (Gwen) Bloomfield and Michael Whitworth; four great nieces Ashlyn, Kaylee, Leah and Avalyn and one great nephew Kane.
He is also survived by several cousins and friends, including special friends Brian Ratliff, James Cecil, Allyson Bennett and her son Cody.
Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Thursday, November 21, 2024, 3:30 – 7 PM with cremation to follow.
Expressions of sympathy are requested to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
