GREENVILLE, KY., Nila Yvonne Bandy Smith, 75, of Kuttawa passed away on November 14, 2024 at the Landmark of Kuttawa Nursing Home. She was born in Greenville, KY on February 8, 1949 the daughter of Wendell Moore Bandy and Margaret Merilene Walker Bandy. She was a medical transcriptionist, she owned Nila’s Painting Place, and was a team truck driver.
She was preceded in death by her husband Steve Smith, her parents, and a brother Dalmas Bandy.
She is survived by her brother Kevin (Judy) Bandy of Greenville, 2 nephews Conner (Haley) Bandy of Greenville and Chad (Krista) Bandy of Muddy, IL., and 3 great nephews.
Visitation will be on Monday, November 18, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville
Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Cherry Grove Cemetery in Weir, KY with Rev. Tom Stovall officiating.
