Dreama Faye Gray, 77, of Lewisport, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born in Rumsey, Ky on December 2, 1946 to the late Robert S. and Christine Coakley Blake. Dreama was a member of Central Baptist Church and was retired from Sportsman’s Inn. She enjoyed reading, Western movies and TV shows, Elvis Presley and loved playing video games. Dreama was a loving mother, enjoyed spending time with her family and was a mother to many others. She was preceded in death by husband, Freddie Gray; son, Donald Hartman; sister, Sue Blake.
Dreama is survived by her daughters, Velma (Brian) Adkins, Beverly Thienes, Clemmie (Scotty) Jackson and Marion (Brian) Lawalin; grandchildren, Jasmine Board, Josh Hartman, Chrystal Adkins, Natasha Nall, Matt Adkins, Jacquelyn Gibson, Nakia Goode, Cody Lawalin, Taylor Fischer, Austin Nyhuise and Danny Nyhuise; siblings, Bonnie Laster, Monie Johnson, Anna Blake, Robert Blake, Jr, Donnie Blake and Orvile Carter along with several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Central Baptist Church with burial following in Serenity Hills. Dreama’s family will be greeting friends on Wednesday from 10 am until 1 pm at Central Baptist Church. Memorial Contributions may be made to Central Baptist Church Food Bank.
