Shawna Sue Moorman DiChiara, age 73 of Glen Dean, KY passed away November 8, 2024, at her residence. She was born in Louisville, KY on July 10, 1951, daughter of the late George T. and Frances Kyle Moorman. Shawna lived much of her adult life as a resident of Kona, Hawaii, where she owned and managed her own business – Blue Water Fantasies. Having deep roots in Glen Dean, KY, she and her husband Michael spent the last 20 – 25 years in Glen Dean.
Shawna is survived by her husband Michael DiChiara
2 brothers – William Moorman (Leslie) and Kyle Moorman (Lisa)
Nieces: Sallie Ruff, Lindsay Cassaro, Kelsey Moorman
Nephew: Tristan Moorman
6 grand nieces and 1 grand nephew
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 3 PM central time with cremation to follow. There will be no visitation.
