Betty Jo Armstrong, 91, of Owensboro, passed away Friday, November 8, 2024 at Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born September 10, 1933 in Muhlenberg County to the late Alfred and Clara Coy Armstrong. Betty was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Her life was devoted to her loving companion dogs; Annie, Hot Shot, and Bo Jangles. Betty Jo enjoyed dog sitting everyone’s fur babies.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Lee Armstrong and William “Goodie” Armstrong.
Survivors include her nephews, William “Billy” Armstrong and wife Wanda of Henderson, KY; Raymond “Ray” Armstrong and wife Kathy of Midway, KY; Robert “Bobby” Lee Jr. and wife Linda Armstrong of Central City, KY; Joseph “Joey” Armstrong and wife Becky of Central City, KY; and James Armstrong of Bremen, KY and her friends and caregivers, Jesse & Doris Hayman.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City, KY.
