Winifred B. Taylor, 102 of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. She was born on November 18, 1921 in the Dimple community of Butler County to the late Taylor Warren and Jesse Moore Barrow. Ms. Taylor was a member of Liberty Methodist Church in Beaver Dam, and she worked as a bookkeeper for Felty Crop Services.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jewell Dowell Taylor; her second husband, Leon Hatcher and one son, Michael Wayne Taylor.
She leaves behind to cherish many memories, her sons, Dowell Warren (Sandra) Taylor of Beaver Dam and Donald Keith (Tammy) Taylor of Nicholasville; two grandchildren, Eric (Whitney) Taylor and Beth (David) Henson; one great granddaughter, Blaire Leslie Henson and one sister, Mardell Givens of Hartford.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 9, 2024 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Alton Crowe officiating. A private burial will follow in Liberty Methodist Church Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with Winifred’s family from 10 A.M. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
