Shirley J. Patterson, 86, of Owensboro, passed away November 4, 2024, under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of W. Kentucky – Heartford House. She was born December 21, 1937, to the late Harvey and Lois Helm.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her sons, Eddie and Russell Helm, as well as her best friend, Jim Bivins.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Sheila Rhineburger, Connie (Mike) Cezeski, Cathy (Greg) Hudson, and James (Esther) Patterson; grandchildren, “Little Eddie” Mattingly, Stephanie Crowe, J.R. Rhineburger, Melissa Howard, Mike Helm, Justin Helm, Nickole Adcock, and Emily McDuffee; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
