HORSE BRANCH – Cathy Susan West, 64, of Horse Branch, Kentucky, passed away October 18th, 2024 at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. She was born October 4th, 1960 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Everett “Tooter” and Monia Johnson Moore. Ms. West worked as a Head Start preschool teacher and provided in-home childcare for some very special families. Cathy was a member of Sugar Grove Church of Christ. She loved her children and grandchildren will all her heart and would do anything for them.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Russell Daugherty and by Ledford West.
Survivors include two children, Amanda (Josh) Wright of Beaver Dam, Kentucky and Everett West of Horse Branch, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Everett West, Jr., Gabe West, Jaxton Wright and Zoey Wright; along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024 at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Bro. Josh Wright officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024 and from 9:00 AM until time of service on Wednesday. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Horse Branch, Kentucky.
