Stephanie Gayle Dorris, 62, of Owensboro, passed away October 13, 2024 at her home. The Daviess County native was born November 19, 1961 to Gary “Bud” and Lou Ethel Dorris. She enjoyed spending her time reading, playing dice, and listening to music. However, spending time with her grandchildren brought her the most joy.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her daughter, Carrie Wetzel and grandparents, Carrie Mae and Louis Raymond Dorris.
Survivors include her father, “Bud” Dorris; children, Nathan Prow and Bethaney Wooldridge; stepson, Donnie Wooldridge; siblings, Tim (Susie) Dorris and Cleta (Frank) Brancato; grandchildren, Xavier Prow, Annzlea, Rayden, and Kamille; great grandson, Kayson; as well as many other loving family and friends.
To honor Stephanie’s life a memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 18, 2024 at First Free Will Baptist Church, 4314 W. 5th Street Rd., Owensboro, KY 42301.
