Debbie Galloway, age 67 of Westview, KY was peacefully taken to her eternal home on October 8, 2024 surrounded by her beautiful flowers she tended so lovingly. She was born on September 12,1957 to the late Melvin Henry and Helen Virginia Galloway. She spent her childhood in Kingswood, KY with her brother Gary Galloway and sister Pamela Davis. On June 24, 1972 she married the love of her life, Michael Galloway. They were married 52 years. Through the many ups and downs that life threw at them, they grew stronger together. Debbie leaves behind two children, David (Tessa) Galloway and Jennifer (Bradford) Haverly who she adored. Debbie doted on her 5 grandchildren: Blake, Sydney, Emily, Caitlyn, and Nick. She cherished her relationship with her niece Lindsey (Mick) Dyer as a “bonus daughter” and her “bonus grandchildren” Jackson and Caroline. She fiercely loved her family. She is also survived by two great grandchildren, Caldwell and Clara. She was a member and sat on the board of Kingswood Wesleyan Church. Debbie enjoyed gardening, fishing, and hickory chicken hunting. She felt it was her calling to help others. Whether it was a bag of vegetables, a hot meal, or interceding in prayer, Debbie was faithful to help.
Visitation will be held at Trent Dowell Funeral Home on Sunday, October 13, 2024 from 2-6 PM and Monday, October 14, 2024 from 8-11AM. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday. All times are central.
