Edward Earl Lyons Jr., 58, passed away on Sept. 30, 2024, at his home in Owensboro, KY. He was born in Owensboro, KY. Edward was self-employed with B&J Lawncare for more than ten years.
In his spare time, Edward loved to work on automobiles and his yard, always planting new things with excitement. He enjoyed falling asleep to NASCAR every week on the couch while he swore he wasn’t snoring. He collected vintage oil cans, coins, and things related to wizards or dragons. He loved his kids, and his wife with everything and was one of the kindest men you could meet. Edward loved his grandchildren even more. Being a grandfather was one of his proudest accomplishments.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Earl Lyons, Sr. and mother, Elizabeth Mae Lyons (Hester). He is survived by his loving wife, Brandy Lyons (Austin); his daughters, Ashley Stewart (Steven Stewart), Sasha Austin, and Avery-Joe Austin; and his grandchildren, Vivian, Jasper, and Oliver.
A small family service will happen at a later date.
