Joseph Lee Morgan, age 80 of Cloverport, KY passed away October 1, 2024 at Kindred Hospital. He was born in Ammons, KY on January 27, 1944, son of the late Pete and Grace Mattingly Morgan. Joe was a member of St. Romuald Catholic Church, a Mason and Pipe Fitters Local 522. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a musician and enjoyed playing his guitar at jamborees. Playing golf, riding motorcycles and fishing were a few other hobbies that kept Joe busy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Sharon.

Stepson: William Irwin of Hardinsburg, KY
Brother: Doug Morgan (Judy) of Blue Springs, MO
3 nephews: Andy and Greg Morgan and David Huffman (Patty) of Brandenburg, KY
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 12 PM. Burial with military honors will be in the St. Romuald Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 10 AM – 12 PM. All times are central.
