CENTERTOWN – Joseph Lee Taylor I, 71, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, the proud father of three children, died peacefully in his sleep on August 10th, 2024.
He was born in Centertown, Kentucky on October 22nd, 1952 to Jess and Marie Taylor. Joseph graduated from Ohio County High School in 1970. After graduation he joined the Marine Corps.
Joseph was a devoted and loving father to Jennifer Taylor (Tommy Stinnett) of Island, Kentucky, Joseph Taylor (Jessica Preston) of Masonville, Kentucky and Travis Taylor (Nicki Taylor) of Boonville, Indiana, who will dearly miss him and the life lessons he imparted on them.
He took great pride in hunting and fishing. He was a true blue, die hard, Dallas Cowboys fan, never missing a game.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Marie Taylor. He is survived by his three children, eight grandchildren, three great-granddaughters, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Bro. Charlie Taylor officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 13th, 2024 from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM and Wednesday, August 14th, 2024 from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
