Richard Lloyd Holloway, 75, of Owensboro, passed away on July 7, 2024, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on June 30, 1949, in Jackson, TN to the late Lloyd and Cristeen Landrum Holloway. Richard retired from National Steel, as a boilermaker, and served in the United States National Guard.
Richard was a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers and the American Pool Players Association. Most days Richard could be found at Rockys Bar, formally known as the B&B Tavern. He enjoyed woodworking, billiards/pool, gardening, barbeque, watching UK basketball, and most importantly spending time with friends and family.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Linda Rose.
Richard is survived by his son, Troy Holloway; a sister, Phyllis (Kevin) Rambo; nieces, Melissa Taylor and Amanda (Richie) Ray; nephew, Todd (Gretta) Rose; and great-nieces, Cassandra Taylor and Morgan Robinson.
Private family services will take place at a later date at Ridgecrest Cemetery in Jackson, TN.
