Kathy Lorraine Gail Burden, 38, of Owensboro passed away on July 6, 2024, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born on January 18, 1986, in Owensboro to Melinda Hensley and the late William “Bill” Burden. Kathy worked at Jackson Hewitt as a tax preparer and owned an online shop called “Cats Closet.”
Kathy loved the beach and loved to travel. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing.
Along with her father, Kathy was preceded in death by her sister, Punkin Burden.
Along with her mother, Kathy is survived by her children, Layla Jo Burden, Liam Wright, and London Wright; grandparents, Hershell and Mary Clawson; and siblings, Robert Burden, William “Bill” Burden, Becky DeBono, and April Reece.
