Connie Jean Armstrong, 69, of Orlinda, TN, died on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Madison, TN. She was born January 8, 1950 to the late Thurman and Berna Dean Thomas Dawson. She retired from JC Penney and was a former member of Hall Street Baptist Church. Connie enjoyed tole painting, reading, and loved crocheting. She had a very distinct laugh that will be missed.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, James T. Armstrong; sisters, Denise Carol Bell of Jacksonville, FL and Debbie Darlene Brown of Evansville, IN; nieces and nephews, Michelle Hays, Bobby Brown, Mary Beth Murdock, and Michael Murdock (Gabriella) ; nephew-in-law, Jason Bertram (Angelic); and great-nieces and nephews, Allie, Kailyn, Josh, Tesla and Arya.
Services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2019 in the chapel at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
