Julie Ann Gilmore, 66, of Owensboro, KY passed away on July 6, 2024 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on April 21, 1958 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late George & Stella Hall. Julie leaves behind two boys that she would always say they were her greatest accomplishments in life. She would tell everyone that Josh (Kristen) was her left arm and Alfred Jr. (Natalie) was her right. Julie was also very proud of her daughters-in-law describing them as the daughters she didn’t have. She loved her grandbabies with all her heart and loved spending time with them. Her great grand babies were the icing on the cake. She would say that her kids and grandkids were her heart and soul and that she loved them more than anything in the world.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Kay Hall; great grandbaby, Arlo Parker.

Survivors include her two sons; Alfred Lee Gilmore, Jr (Natalie) and Joshua Allen Gilmore (Kristen); six grandchildren, Whitney Nicole Gilmore (Wesley), Ashley Taylor Gilmore (Noah), Nicholas Braden-Lee Gilmore (Taya), Tyler Jacob Gilmore, Grace Marie Gilmore, Emma Kate Gilmore; great grandkids, Jameson, Millie, Hudson, Beckham; three brothers, George Bernard Hall (Christy), Jr., Robert Earl Hall (Jackie), Peter Gordon Hall (Angela); a sister, Peggy Lee Hillard (Billy); and several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life service will be 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from 10:00 until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
