Pierce Alan Locklear, the infant son of Brittni Smith and Rudy Locklear, passed at twenty weeks gestation on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
Along with his parents, Pierce is survived by his siblings, Naomi Jayde Smith, Isabella Darlene Smith, Gabriel Isaac Smith, and Brantley Lyndall; grandparents, Lisa and John Yalch and Lorraine and Jason Reichart; aunts, Stephanie Weckerly, Emily Reichart, and Abbi Reichart; uncles, DJ Weckerly, Andrew Robbins, and Michael Reichart; and great-grandmother, Linda Little.
Pierce was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Jackie Mizell.
Let Us Pray, O God, to whom it belongeth always to show mercy and to spare, we humbly beseech Thee for the soul of Thy servant whom thou hast called out of this world, that Thou deliver him not into the hands of the enemy, nor forget him forever; but command that he be received by the holy Angels and taken to Paradise his true Country and that as he hath believed and hoped in Thee, he may not suffer the pains of Earth, but have joy everlasting; through Christ our Lord, Amen.
Services will be 12:00 p.m. on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
